Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Rendicion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendicion is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by El último pecado. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Morrison.

Rendicion gets caught flat footed, as Morrison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rendicion is on top in guard.
Morrison seems keen to control Rendicion's posture.

Rendicion has gone for a leg lock! Morrison slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rendicion's guard.

Rendicion has his foot on Morrison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morrison works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Morrison tries to clinch but Rendicion moves out of range.
Rendicion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rendicion wants it to stay on the feet.

Morrison shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rendicion as he avoids it easily.
Ty Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Rendicion tries to sprawl out of it but Morrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rendicion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
