Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Riviera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riviera has chosen Dirty hous' - Rohff as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Tyler Durden has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Riviera!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riviera circles away from the clinch attempt.
Riviera instigates a clinch.
Riviera jumps guard but Durden stands there with Riviera around his waist. Riviera gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Durden wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Riviera has him pressed against the cage.
Durden goes for a takedown attempt but Riviera pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Riviera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durden chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Riviera can pounce on him.
Durden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Durden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Riviera counters with a nice uppercut.

Durden takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Durden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Durden throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Cain Riviera has been cut.

Riviera tries to score a body lock takedown but Durden shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Riviera has Durden pressed against the cage, preventing Durden from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Riviera has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Durden uses from the top position.

and Riviera counters with a good low kick that Durden was not able to check.
Durden shoots in for a takedown but Riviera shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Durden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riviera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Riviera swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riviera is defended easily by Durden.
Tyler Durden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Riviera.

and Riviera counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Riviera.

Riviera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Riviera drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Durden lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Riviera!
Durden wants to control the pace but Riviera is squirming around nicely.
Durden has hold of Riviera's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Riviera manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

and Riviera counters with a nice body kick.
Riviera ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Durden moves away.
Durden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riviera takes the fight into the clinch.
Riviera pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Riviera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Durden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Durden kicks Riviera off and gets back to his feet.

and Riviera decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Durden's guard.
Durden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Riviera defends it easily.
Durden manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Riviera knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Durden scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Durden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Riviera is not content to let Durden control the position.

Durden is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Riviera is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Riviera flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Durden anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Riviera and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Durden slips an arm under Riviera chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Durden has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Durden is squeezing on Riviera like an anaconda would it's prey. Riviera fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
