The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cabbat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cabbat is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hicks .
A big left from Cabbat misses.
Hicks slips under a jab from Cabbat.
Cabbat has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cabbat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hicks swinging wildly here.
Cabbat misses with an uppercut.
Cabbat defending well as Hicks loads up on a big left hand.
Hicks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cabbat.
Hicks looks to land a left hand but Cabbat moved out of range nicely.
Hicks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cabbat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Cabbat counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Cabbat lands a left and a right that send Hicks crashing to the mat, dazed. Cabbat thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
