The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Ulrich.
Ulrich shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ulrich scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ulrich prevents Murphy from escaping the position.

Ulrich looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Murphy is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Ulrich passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Murphy!

Ulrich looking for a guillotine from mount but Murphy is having none of it.
Ulrich won't let Murphy get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Ulrich wants to finish this one by submission but Murphy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ulrich.

Ulrich has hold of Murphy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Murphy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Murphy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Ulrich is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ulrich extends the arm and Murphy is forced to tap!
