PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamar Arrington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law comes into the arena with Halo blaring out of the sound system. Arrington has chosen Giggs - Look What The Cat Dragged In as his entrance music. Lamar Arrington told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arrington checks a low kick from Law.
A head kick from Law lands but Arrington takes it in his stride.
Arrington missing with a left hand there. Law was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Law looks to throw the jab but Arrington is out of range.
Law slips a jab and a cross from Arrington.
Arrington gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Law.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Arrington stalling.
Law has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Law can't get the takedown.
Arrington lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Law or not.
Arrington avoiding damage as Law throws knees to the body.

Arrington throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Laws head.
Arrington on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Arrington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Arrington scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Arrington clinches.
Law throws a head punch that misses.

Arrington breaks the clinch.
Law waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arrington.
Law falls off balance throwing a combination
and Arrington counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Arrington lands a slapping body shot.
Law is breathing heavily.
Arrington connects with a good right hand that stumbles Law. Law circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Arrington with a hook.
Arrington scores with a jab. Law acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Arrington lands a lovely overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jab, jab by Arrington - just one landing.
Arrington connects with a solid leg kick.

Arrington lands a big head kick that sends Law tumbling to the mat! Arrington takes a step backwards and waves Law back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Law is rocked!
Arrington digs a good body shot into Law's ribs.
Arrington cracks Law on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Law falls backwards against the cage. Arrington follows up with more strikes that drop Law to his knees. Arrington keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Law! This one is all over!
