Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mada Ginlob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarkhan Vol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ginlob shoots in but no luck this time.
Vol chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ginlob can pounce on him.
Vol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Vol punishing his opponent with strikes.
Vol lands with some strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vol looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Vol fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Vol can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ginlob is looking to escape.

Ginlob is bucking up trying to escape but Vol cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Vol pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Vol controlling the pace for now.
Vol scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ginlob?
Vol swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ginlob is now in Vol's guard. A big mistake from Vol there, giving up the dominant position!
Ginlob decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ginlob gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vol won't allow Ginlob to sweep him here.

Vol has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vol is pushing down on Ginlob's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ginlob is fighting to maintain full guard but Vol has managed to sneak the leg through.
Vol uses his free foot to push down on Ginlob's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ginlob.

Ginlob wants to hold on but Vol pushes him away.

Ginlob tries to reverse the position but Vol maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vol is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ginlob to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ginlob shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vol can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ginlob is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sarkhan Vol dominated that round.
That's time! Ginlob's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vol changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ginlob looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Vol is looking to take a break and control but Ginlob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
A lull in the action here.
Ginlob on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Vol decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ginlob to his feet.
Ginlob shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vol counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ginlob!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vol lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Vol is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ginlob is surviving well by controlling Vol's body position as best he can.
Vol is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ginlob has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vol cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ginlob is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Vol is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ginlob to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ginlob shrugs it off.

Vol has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ginlob's face.

Ginlob is in a horrible position here. Vol smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Vol takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Despite being in the dominant position, Sarkhan Vol just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ginlob blocks a head kick by Vol.
Ginlob throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vol fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ginlob sprawls well initially but Vol persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ginlob is not content to let Vol control the position.
Vol has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ginlob defend it? Vol steps over the head and cranks it - Ginlob is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Vol!
