Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chip Chap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Illidan Stormrage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chap decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Chap wants to work for an arm triangle but Stormrage is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Chap looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stormrage is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Chap's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Chap's back!

Stormrage is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Stormrage gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Stormrage gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Stormrage apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Chap gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stormrage to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Stormrage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chap swivels though and keeps the full guard.
