Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sjaak de West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paavo Penttinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de West kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Can i play with madness (Iron Maiden). Penttinen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Layla. Sjaak de West has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penttinen misses with a wild combination.
Penttinen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
de West showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Penttinen.
Penttinen throws a hook to the side of de West's head but de West sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Penttinen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? de West is fending him off so far but Penttinen persists. Nope, de West circles away and we're back to standing.
de West misses with a takedown attempt - Penttinen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penttinen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penttinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but de West manages to avoid it.
Penttinen throws a series of punches but de West moves out of range.

de West fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Penttinen sprawls well initially but de West persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Penttinen is in trouble now - de West has advanced to mount!
Penttinen wants to control but de West is having none of it.

Penttinen wants to hold on but de West pushes him away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Penttinen can do anything to dispel that myth.
