The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson blocks the body kick.
Satriani misses with a low kick.
Satriani throws a head kick that misses.
Satriani throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Satriani misses with a kick to the body.
Nelson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nelson ducks under a wild hook from Satriani.
Satriani finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nelson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Satriani looks to throw the jab but Nelson is out of range.
Satriani tries a head kick but it misses.
Joe Satriani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
