The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sakara shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sakara throws a series of punches but Brown avoids them all with ease.
Brown lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Aurelio Sakara has been cut.
Sakara misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A big left from Brown misses.
Brown throws a one two combo.
Sakara scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sakara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sakara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sakara is looking for a sweep.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Sakara pushes Brown away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Brown gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sakara gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Brown in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sakara tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brown!
