Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Spotwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spotwood has chosen KRS-ONE & Marley Marl - Hip Hop Lives as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jerry Spotwood was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson wants to clinch.

Spotwood has control of Thompson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Thompson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Thompson reaches up to try and control the position but Spotwood seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Thompson rolls and tries to escape and now Spotwood has his back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Poor strikes thrown by Spotwood there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
