Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Smiley Central (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saoul Kayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Smiley Central!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saoul Kayne!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kayne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Central pinned against the cage. Central gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kayne shoots in but Central avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kayne looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Central is fending him off so far but Kayne persists. Nope, Central circles away and we're back to standing.
Smiley Central has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saoul Kayne.

Kayne shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Central striking off his back but it's not causing Kayne any problems.
Central tries to strike from the bottom.
Central throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Central knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kayne on the ground.
Central wants to sweep here but Kayne controlling him for the moment.
Central trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Central throwing short punches from the bottom.
Central is striking from the bottom but Kayne uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Kayne is working for a submission of some sort.

Kayne is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Central sees it coming and defends easily.
Central is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Central stops Kayne from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Central tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Central bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kayne escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Central gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Central with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Central throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kayne has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Central should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kayne has tightened it up now! Central should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
