Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninoy Aquino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vega La Cerda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vega La Cerda is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aquino shoots for a double leg takedown but La Cerda sprawls well. He's pushed Aquino's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aquino sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

La Cerda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aquino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Aquino wants to stand and escape but instead La Cerda has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
La Cerda stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aquino swivels though and keeps the full guard.
La Cerda not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

La Cerda is looking for a kimura but Aquino is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for La Cerda to get the leverage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with La Cerda in particular looking to stall.

Despite being in the dominant position, Vega La Cerda just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aquino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but La Cerda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
La Cerda doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Aquino counters with a nice double leg into guard.

La Cerda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aquino defends it easily.

La Cerda is looking for a triangle but Aquino pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

La Cerda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

La Cerda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and La Cerda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aquino doesn't succeed with the takedown

and La Cerda counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aquino!

Aquino is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. La Cerda locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Aquino is forced to tap!
