Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Douche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy Douche told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aiden Holmes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Guy Douche!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douche digs a good hook to Holmes's body.
Douche fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Douche throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Douche rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holmes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Douche!
Holmes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Douche darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Holmes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Douche.
Douche bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Holmes's head backwards.
Holmes is looking to clinch but Douche is avoiding it.
Douche misses with a few strikes there.
Douche misses with a low kick.

Holmes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Douche did well to prevent Holmes getting side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Holmes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Douche sees it coming and defends easily.
Douche wants to control but Holmes is keeping busy.
Holmes thows a huge punch but Douche dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Douche is not content to let Holmes control the position.

Douche kicks off Holmes and gets to his feet.
Douche throws a low kick but Holmes avoids it.
Good exchange - Douche coming out on top.
A chopping leg kick lands by Holmes.
Douche with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Douche swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Douche lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Douche looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Holmes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Douche napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Holmes tries to stand but Douche is controlling his head.
Holmes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Douche keeps working.
Douche tries to improve position but can't.

Holmes has an Americana. Douche didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Holmes is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Holmes hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
