Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kida Masaomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Toyoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masaomi's entrance music is Complication - ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideo Toyoku!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyoku throws a nice looking combination but Masaomi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Toyoku gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Masaomi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Masaomi pushing down on Toyoku's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Masaomi wants to pass the guard but Toyoku is defending well.
Toyoku has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Masaomi is working away from the top position though.

Masaomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Masaomi is fighting to break Toyoku's control of his arms but Toyoku is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Masaomi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Toyoku swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Toyoku just misses with a punch to the body.
Masaomi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Masaomi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Toyoku circles away.
Toyoku scores with a jab to the head.
Toyoku thuds his right hand into Masaomi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Kida Masaomi has been cut.
Masaomi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Toyoku.
Masaomi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Toyoku swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Masaomi shoots in but Toyoku avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kida Masaomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Masaomi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Toyoku lands a big uppercut and Masaomi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Masaomi looks OK. Toyoku waves Masaomi back to his feet!

Masaomi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oh Masaomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jab, jab by Toyoku - just one landing.

Kida Masaomi's cut is getting worse.
Toyoku drops Masaomi with a naaaaasty hook - Masaomi is in real trouble here! Toyoku dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
