Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Longson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Senior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longson's entrance music is Oopsy daisy chipmunk. A fine choice. Keith Senior will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Longson gets caught flat footed, as Senior shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Senior works over Longson with some ground and pound from guard.
Senior stopping the sweep attempt from Longson.
Senior is working Longson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Senior wants to pass the guard but Longson is keeping the position.

Longson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Senior drops back looking for a leg! Longson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Longson manages to kick Senior off! Senior jumps back into Longson's guard.
Senior postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Senior forces his way into half guard.

Senior is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Longson defends it well.
Longson is pressing down on Senior's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Senior stands up over Longson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Senior wants to pass the guard but Longson is keeping the position.

Longson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Senior thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Longson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Senior is one step ahead there.
Senior pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Longson is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Longson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Longson looks to land a combination but Senior avoids it well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A combination from Longson does no damage.
Senior fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Longson avoids it really well and circles away.
Brandon Longson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Longson rushes Senior and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Longson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Senior takes a kick to the side of the head.

Longson closes the distance and clinches.

Longson breaks the clinch.
Longson misses with a two punch combination.
Longson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Senior.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Longson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Senior bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Senior tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Senior wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Longson, who protects the arm well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Longson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Senior presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Senior is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Senior!
