Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenta Makashima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell has chosen Let's Be Friends as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makashima avoids a punch combination nicely.
Makashima stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Makashima wants it to stay on the feet.
Mitchell swats away the attempt to clinch by Makashima.
Mitchell throws a low kick but Makashima avoids it.

and Makashima counters with a three punch combo that has Mitchell backing up. Mitchell nods at Makashima to acknowledge the strikes.
Mitchell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Makashima moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mitchell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

so Mitchell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mitchell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Makashima swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Makashima is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mitchell throws a series of punches but Makashima moves out of range.
