Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Boyett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincent Meyer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Boyett as Meyer shoots in.
Boyett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boyett throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Meyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boyett circles away.

Boyett drives through and clinches with Meyer against the cage.

Boyett throws a nice looking combination but Meyer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Boyett! Meyer is out on his feet! Boyett rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Meyer is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Meyer is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
