Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jagger Cyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyde has chosen Papa Roach - Time Is Running Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt tries a head kick but it misses.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hurt. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hurt has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cyde avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hurt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Cyde throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cyde scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hurt doesn't seem bothered though.

Cyde lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cyde jabs Hurt right on the nose. Hurt blinks but takes it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You can see the frustration on Cyde's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ground and pound from Hurt seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
