Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Vancet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasili Golitsyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vancet shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Golitsyn pinned against the cage. Golitsyn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vancet looks to land a combination but Golitsyn avoids it well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Vancet drives through with a takedown into guard.
Golitsyn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vancet is one step ahead there.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Golitsyn is on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vancet rushes Golitsyn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Vancet escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vancet plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Vancet connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Golitsyn tumbling to the canvas! Vancet pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Golitsyn was done - good stoppage!
