Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yogi Hendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yogi Hendo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yamapi Chan's chin.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chan looks to score with a jab to the body but Hendo is just out of range.
Hendo shoots in for a takedown but Chan shows good takedown defense.
Chan wants to clinch up but Hendo keeps it at a distance.
Danga de danga de dang - Chan scores with a four punch combination!

Chan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hendo's guard.

Hendo is rocked!
Chan tries to stand but Hendo is controlling from the bottom.
Hendo is breathing heavily.

Chan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
No joy there for Chan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hendo clinches up against the cage.

Hendo has hold of one of Chan's legs. Chan is fighting the takedown attempt but Hendo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Chan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hendo manages to get himself to full guard.

Chan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hendo, up you get!

Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hendo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Yogi Hendo will probably get the nod.

and Hendo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hendo is sitting in close to Chan's body. Chan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hendo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hendo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Chan.
