The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel wants to clinch.
Winston Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Riley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Steel drives through with a takedown into guard.

Riley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steel defends well.
Steel slips nicely into half guard.
Steel is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Riley is looking to escape.

Steel looking for a submission but Riley manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Steel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Riley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Riley is tightening it up a little... Steel has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Steel reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Steel taps out! nice BJJ there by Riley!
