Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamad Najar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osanti Herod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herod comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Down With The King kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Osanti Herod has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mohamad Najar's chin.

Herod decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Najar connects with a nice short shot to Herod's temple.

Herod had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Najar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Herod Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Najar's back instead.
Najar rolls, trying to escape but Herod keeps control of the position.

You can see the frustration on Najar's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Herod has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Najar.
Herod is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Najar knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Najar for a finish.
