Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alte Packin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sepi Mussaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alte Packin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sepi Mussaka!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Packin shoots in but no luck this time.
Packin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mussaka is fending him off so far but Packin persists. Nope, Mussaka circles away and we're back to standing.

Mussaka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Packin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Packin controls Mussaka momentarily but Mussaka frees himself.
Mussaka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mussaka pushes down on Packin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mussaka is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Packin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mussaka pulls his head out easily.
Packin is trying to maintain the position but Mussaka is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mussaka lands a nice short elbow.

Packin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mussaka works his way into side control.
Mussaka creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Packin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mussaka on the ground.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Packin is looking for a sweep.
Mussaka lands an elbow.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mussaka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sepi Mussaka just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mussaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mussaka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mussaka is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mussaka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Packin is bucking up trying to escape but Mussaka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mussaka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Mussaka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

BOOM! Mussaka connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mussaka cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mussaka is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Mussaka extends the arm and Packin is forced to tap!
