The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

VL shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. VL showed some decent athleticism there.
Andross is trying to control but can't.
VL throws a strike but Andross avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

VL stands up over Andross, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
VL gets to his feet and stands over Andross, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Andross felt that one! VL unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Andross from any more punishment!
