The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

volodya feints and as naprotiv raises his hands in defense, volodya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
volodya makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

volodya is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
volodya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
volodya with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
volodya pushes down on naprotiv's leg and manages to get into half guard.
naprotiv on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

naprotiv has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from volodya.
naprotiv tries to roll but volodya sticks to his back.
volodya really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for naprotiv.
