Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolf Hitler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Ko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adolf Hitler!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitler shoots in for a takedown but Ko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ko tries to clinch up but Hitler circles away and keeps his distance.

Hitler moves into the clinch successfully.

Ko drags the fight down to the ground.
Ko seems keen to control Hitler's posture.
Hitler postures up in Ko's guard and throws a big left but Ko blocks it.
Ko wants to stand up but Hitler is controlling him.
Hitler wants to pass the guard but Ko is keeping the position.
Hitler throws a strike but Ko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hitler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hitler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ko tries to free his leg and advance position but Hitler is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitler throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Hitler uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Ko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hitler defends it nicely.
Ko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ko.

Ko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ko lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hitler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ko is controlling him.
Hitler looks gassed!

Ko gets to his feet. Hitler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hitler is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ko is looking to take a break and control but Hitler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hitler is looking to reverse the position.
Ko tries to move to mount but Hitler blocks the move with his legs.

Ko stands up and beckons Hitler to his feet.
Ko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hitler avoids it really well and circles away.
Ko misses with a wild body shot.

and Ko counters with a head kick.
Bruce Ko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adolf Hitler.

Hitler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hitler pinned against the cage. Hitler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hitler fails to land the takedown.

Ko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hitler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ko is aware though and is defending well.
Ko won't allow Hitler to sweep him here.

Ko stands and steps away. Hitler gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ko fails with the takedown.
Ko misses with a head kick.

Ko fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hitler fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Ko decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hitler's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hitler is looking to sweep but instead, Ko has passed into half guard.
Hitler is trying to stand back up but Ko is controlling him
Ko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hitler is trying to get back to full guard.
Ko wants to stand up but Hitler has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Hitler wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hitler is looking for a sweep. Ko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Ko dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Ko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ko landing with the ground and pound.

Ko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hitler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ko manages to get himself to full guard.
Hitler cracks Ko with a solid left hand.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hitler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hitler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hitler lands a couple of elbows.
Ko wants to sweep here but Hitler controlling him for the moment.
Hitler postures up in Ko's guard and throws a big left but Ko blocks it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ko uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Hitler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ko decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A head kick misses from Ko.
Hitler stalks Ko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ko's face. Ko staggers backwards, shaken.
Ko throws a nice head kick!
Ko moves in looking to clinch but Hitler pushes him off.

Ko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ko wants to control but Hitler is keeping him busy.
Hitler takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Ko moves into the clinch.

Hitler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ko throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hitler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ko swivels and escapes.
Ko throws a head kick that Hitler semi-blocks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ko.
Hitler takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ko tries a head kick but it misses.

Ko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hitler was covering up waiting for the punch and Ko finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ko gets to his feet - Hitler follows without any prompting.
Hitler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hitler is looking for a triangle but Ko pushes his legs off easily.

Ko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hitler's guard.
Hitler tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Ko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hitler sees it coming and defends easily.
Ko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hitler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ko wants to work for an arm triangle but Hitler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

A nice inside leg kick there by Ko. That's going to slow Hitler down.
Hitler tries to clinch up but Ko circles away and keeps his distance.

Ko leaves Hitler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hitler's half guard.

Hitler landing rabbit punches to the side of Ko's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Nice sprawl there from Ko as Hitler shoots in.

Hitler is pushing Ko's head away, looking to escape. Ko manages to hold on to the position though.
Bruce Ko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hitler throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Hitler can't do much from the bottom here.

Ko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hitler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hitler pushes Ko away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ko gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bruce Ko showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
