Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Bosse told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabriel Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Bosse! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva dives in and grabs Bosse's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bosse pushes down on Silva's head and hops out. Nice sprawl there from Silva as Bosse shoots in. Bosse fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Steve Bosse has been cut. Bosse keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva. Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bosse napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bosse takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Silva trying to control the position but Bosse is working away. The strikes coming from Silva are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Bosse tries to buck Silva off but Silva is having none of it. Bosse struggling a bit here. Bosse is looking to regain half guard here but Silva keeps moving and retains side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is staying tight to Bosse's torso, preventing him from escaping. Silva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva stands up and beckons Bosse to his feet.
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bosse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Bosse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva gets to his feet - Bosse follows without any prompting. Bosse dips to his left and cracks Silva with an uppercut! Bosse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bosse looks gassed! Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bosse but Bosse pushes him off and we're back to square one. Silva stuffs the takedown. Gabriel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Silva passes Bosse's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Silva scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Silva in particular looking to stall. Silva is nestled in close to Bosse, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Silva performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Silva with a lazy takedown attempt and Bosse counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bosse holds on and takes a little breather. Silva thows a big elbow that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Silva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabriel Silva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Steve Bosse's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bosse doesn't succeed with the takedown and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bosse is lucky that one didn't land flush. Bosse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Silva shoots in but no luck this time. Bosse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bosse off to one side. Silva is looking to clinch but Bosse is avoiding it.

and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bosse's guard now. Gabriel Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse. Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Silva stands and throws Bosse's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva lands a nice forearm strike. Gabriel Silva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Silva is chipping away with strikes.
Bosse is trying to control Silva's posture but Silva avoids it. Silva is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bosse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bosse for as long as he can get away with. Silva avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bosse.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bosse struggling a bit here. Bosse being controlled for a moment. Bosse takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bosse wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away. Silva working Bosse over with strikes here. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bosse is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Silva content just to control the position here. Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Bosse is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Gabriel Silva dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Steve Bosse's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Bosse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Bosse which made him look bad. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bosse pinned against the cage. Bosse gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bosse shoots and misses
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. It looks like Silva is going to stand back up.
Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bosse's head. Bosse looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bosse is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bosse avoid being mounted? Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva slows the pace down in half guard.
Silva stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bosse to get to his feet. Bosse connects with a high kick. Bosse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bosse counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bosse preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Silva controlling from the top position. Bosse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bosse is working for a submission of some sort.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Silva misses with some strikes from the bottom.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bosse wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it. Silva is controlling Bosse's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bosse is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Silva kicks off Bosse and gets to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Gabriel Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
