The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Saint Pierre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Griffin lands a big right hand that sends Saint Pierre crashing to the mat! Griffin stays standing though and waves Saint Pierre back to his feet!

Saint Pierre is rocked!

It looks like Steven Saint Pierre has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice sprawl there from Griffin as Saint Pierre shoots in.
Oh Saint Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin lands a jab to Saint Pierre's midsection.
Saint Pierre is breathing heavily.
Saint Pierre switches off momentarily and Griffin cracks him with a monster right hand! Saint Pierre topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Griffin dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Griffin!
