Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirty Mclevain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dirty Mclevain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kobe James!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James is looking to clinch.
Kobe James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mclevain fails to land with a series of punches.

James gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

James is working an open guard so Mclevain takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
James has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Kobe James has been cut.
James looks gassed!

Mclevain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
James can't keep his opponent in guard - Mclevain advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mclevain seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

James is in a horrible position here. Mclevain smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth.
James is squirming around, avoiding Mclevain's attempts to control the action.

James dives in and grabs Mclevain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mclevain pushes down on James's head and hops out.
James is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mclevain.
Mclevain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

James tries to close the distance and clinch but Mclevain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

James will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
James thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mclevain makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mclevain keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of James's head.
Mclevain wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
Mclevain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

James is working an open guard so Mclevain takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

James pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mclevain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Mclevain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirty Mclevain. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mclevain throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. James was covering up waiting for the punch and Mclevain finishes the takedown easily into guard.
James has momentary wrist control but Mclevain slips an elbow through the middle.

Mclevain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on James, up you get!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
James throws a push kick but Mclevain slaps the foot to one side.

James pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


James has a takedown stuffed.
James leaves Mclevain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mclevain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mclevain wants to stand but James is controlling his posture from full guard.
James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mclevain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mclevain gets through James's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mclevain fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mclevain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
