Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chip Chap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Goskinka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toni Goskinka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chip Chap's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chip Chap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toni Goskinka!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goskinka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Goskinka working away.

Goskinka working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Goskinka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Goskinka creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chap sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Chap tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Goskinka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Goskinka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chap on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chap tries to get out of the position.
Chap is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Goskinka closes the distance and clinches up with Chap, looking for a takedown. Goskinka pushes Chap against the cage but Chap circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chap shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Chap is trying to work for a kimura but Goskinka is defending well.

Chap is trying to control the action in half guard but Goskinka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Goskinka tries to roll over but Chap keeps him under control.

Chap working over Goskinka with some ground and pound. Goskinka looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Goskinka working for a triangle but Chap defends it easily.

Chap postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Goskinka is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chap, into his guard.

Chap is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chap is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Chap knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goskinka on the ground.

Chap looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goskinka is pressing down on Chap's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chap is holding on for now.
Goskinka is keen to just control but Chap is a slippery customer.

Goskinka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chap is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chap has one of Goskinka's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Goskinka tries for a kimura but Chap is defending well.
Chap wants to control but Goskinka postures up.
Chap tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chap shoots in and bounces Goskinka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Toni Goskinka will probably get the nod.
That's time! Chap's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


The fight stays on the outside here - Goskinka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chap misses with a body kick.

Chap throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Goskinka was covering up waiting for the punch and Chap finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chap avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chap drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Goskinka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chap has Goskinka in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Goskinka slips nicely into half guard.
Chap wants to control but Goskinka is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Chap is concentrating on defense, preventing Goskinka from advancing position.

Goskinka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chap swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chap not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chap is really struggling to control Goskinka but he's trying to hold on to the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Chap controls Goskinka momentarily but Goskinka frees himself.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Chip Chap just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Chap shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Goskinka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Chap drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Goskinka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chap has Goskinka in his guard.
Goskinka tries to free his leg and advance position but Chap is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Chap sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Goskinka's guard.

Goskinka makes his way to full guard, as Chap worked for a kimura.
Chap working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Chap wants to control from the top but Goskinka keeps moving.
Goskinka tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chap shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Goskinka is trying to defend but Chap finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chap is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Chap thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Goskinka is pressing down on Chap's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Chap wants to pass the guard but Goskinka is keeping the position.
