Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cass Pennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pennant has chosen I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pennant swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pennant lands a nice looking kick to the body. Reid takes a step back to recover.

Reid chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pennant can pounce on him.

Pennant feints and then cracks Reid's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reid down.

Robbie Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Pennant! Reid is out on his feet! Pennant rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Reid is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Reid is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
