Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Sheldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heavy Mass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheldon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Frank Sheldon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sheldon drops Mass with a beautiful combination! Mass stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sheldon is looking for the KO!

It looks like Heavy Mass has been cut.
Sheldon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sheldon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sheldon leaves Mass with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Mass counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sheldon won't be happy with that.

Mass decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sheldon to his feet.
Mass shoots for a double leg takedown but Sheldon sprawls well. He's pushed Mass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sheldon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sheldon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mass off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Mass rushes Sheldon and presses him up against the cage.
Sheldon tries to circle away but Mass has him pinned against the cage.
Mass keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sheldon's efforts to push away.
Mass lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mass is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Mass receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

Sheldon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mass circles away quickly and effectively.

Mass shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mass is looking to pass Sheldon's guard but actually Sheldon recovers to full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Sheldon.
I think Sheldon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
