Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valio Hristov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen ridda as his entrance music. Jake Roberts has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Valio Hristov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hristov lands a nice hook to Roberts's body. Roberts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hristov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A right-left combo lands from Hristov.
Hristov fails to land with a series of punches.
Hristov gets caught flat footed, as Roberts shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Roberts stays in close to Hristov's body and controls the position.
Hristov working for submissions but it's allowed Roberts to get to half guard.
Hristov is trying to control but can't.
Roberts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hristov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hristov wants to control but Roberts is keeping busy.
Hristov is looking for a sweep. Roberts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hristov is refusing to be controlled, as Roberts sits in half guard.
Hristov is trying to control but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hristov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hristov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hristov is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Hristov is looking for a sweep.
Hristov is trying to control Roberts's posture but Roberts avoids it.
Hristov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roberts wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A jab from Hristov finds it's way through Roberts's defenses.
Hristov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch lands to the side of Roberts 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Roberts closes the distance and clinches.
Roberts has Hristov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hristov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hristov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roberts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hristov tries to avoid it but Roberts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hristov to the ground. Hristov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Valio Hristov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Roberts.
Roberts wants to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberts is defended easily by Hristov.
A punch combination from Hristov misses.
Hristov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Roberts shoots in and drives through. Hristov sprawls well.
Roberts looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hristov!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Roberts throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Roberts looks gassed!

Roberts has control of Hristov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hristov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hristov tries to control Roberts's body but Roberts pushes him off. Hristov squirms to his side and now Roberts has his back!
Roberts gets his hands free as Hristov looks to control.
Hristov turns into Roberts and is now in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jake Roberts will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!
Roberts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hristov trying to control but Roberts postures up.
Roberts throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Roberts sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hristov defending well though.
Roberts is thwarting Hristov's attempts to control the position.
Hristov trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Roberts manages to pass to mount!
BOOM! Roberts connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Roberts can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hristov is looking to escape.

Hristov can't escape the position.
Hristov tries to control the position but Roberts now has his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roberts lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Roberts.
Hristov staying busy and making it hard for Roberts to control.
Roberts avoiding Hristov 's attempts to control his hands.
Roberts is looking to control Hristov but Hristov is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Roberts keeps control of the position as Hristov tries to break free.
Roberts just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Hristov wants to control his opponent's hands but Roberts gets his hands free.
Well, with Roberts on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Hristov is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Roberts is breathing heavily.
Hristov tries to escape but Roberts has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Hristov is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Hristov rolls, trying to escape but Roberts keeps control of the position.
Roberts gets his hands free as Hristov looks to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hristov tries to break free.
Hristov is working hard here to advance position.
Roberts is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hristov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hristov breaks Roberts's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Roberts has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hristov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Roberts has tightened it up now! Hristov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
