Dabest feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Dabest changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gracie wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dabest can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
