Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Falls. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Marr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Bull!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marr blocks a head kick by Bull.
Bull throws a right and a left that Marr avoids nicely.
Marr tries to clinch but Bull moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Marr, as that shot connected.
Bull pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bull misses with a head kick.
Marr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bull paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bull throws a head kick but Marr moves out of range.
Bull throws a sloppy head kick and Marr moves out of range easily.
Bull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bull tries to bum rush Marr with a series of wild strikes but Marr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Marr does it's job there.
Bull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marr manages to avoid it.
Marr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bull swats away the attempt to clinch by Marr.
Bull throws a sloppy head kick and Marr moves out of range easily.

Bull looks to score with a jab to the body but Marr is just out of range.
Bull tries a head kick but it misses.
Bull goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

and Bull makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Bull throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marr takes a kick to the side of the head.

Bull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marr manages to avoid it.

and Marr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Marr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mac Bull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bull takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Marr counters with a shoot takedown. Bull fights it but they end up in guard.

Marr is looking to work some ground and pound but Bull has wrist control.

Marr fails with a takedown attempt.

Bull has had enough of the clinch but Marr keeps him there for the moment.

Marr throws a knee to the head but misses.

Marr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bull sprawls well initially but Marr persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bull really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Marr will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Marr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marr is just content to waste time from the top position. Bull takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Bull wants to stand but Marr is controlling the position.

Marr drops back looking for a leg! Bull is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bull manages to kick Marr off! Marr jumps back into Bull's guard.

and Marr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bull!

Bull is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Marr stands up over Bull, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Marr takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Marr wants to clinch up but Bull keeps it at a distance.
Marr throws the kick towards the body but Bull avoids it.
Marr cracks Bull with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Marr digs a good hook to Bull's body.
Marr misses with a wild body shot.
Marr tries to clinch but Bull moves out of range.
Marr thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bull if he has to take too many more of those.

Marr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Marr drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Marr seems to have locked his on tight now - Bull screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Marr, as he picks up the win!
