The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockheart misses with a hook.
Zackary Lockheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lockheart closes the distance and clinches.
Lockheart can't break the clinch.
Tap tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lockheart smiles and moves away.
Lockheart changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lockheart is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lockheart lands an overhand right.
Lockheart tries to clinch up.
Lockheart thuds a left hand into Tap's body.
Tap swats away the attempt to clinch by Lockheart.

Lockheart closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tap has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lockheart clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Tap is working the ground and pound. Can Lockheart escape?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lockheart trying to get back to his feet but Tap is in full control for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tap is cranking Lockheart's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Lockheart! He's tightened the choke and Lockheart is tapping out!
