Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lasse Kongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cookie Monster!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Monster circles away quickly and effectively.

Monster decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Monster throwing shots but Kongo is blocking nicely.
Monster working the head and body with strikes.
Kongo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Monster.
Kongo is controlling Monster's trapped leg to prevent Monster from advancing to side control.
Monster thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kongo to regain full guard.
Monster stops Kongo from standing up.

Monster postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kongo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Monster, into his guard.
Monster controls Kongo momentarily but Kongo frees himself.

Monster is striking off his back. Kongo thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Monster manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Monster keeping full guard, as Kongo tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Monster throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kongo escapes and throws Monster's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Monster is looking to regain half guard here but Kongo keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Monster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kongo content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Kongo decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kongo has Monster up against the cage in a clinch.

Monster is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kongo can't fight it off and eventually Monster manages to take the fight to the floor. Kongo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Monster in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Monster working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kongo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Monster with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kongo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Monster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kongo is working away from the top position though.
Monster moves into full guard.
Monster is trying to keep Kongo in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Monster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kongo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kongo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Monster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kongo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Monster is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kongo is fighting to break Monster's control of his arms but Monster is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kongo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cookie Monster dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kongo scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Monster looks for a takedown but Kongo sprawls well.

Kongo lands a big head kick that sends Monster tumbling to the mat! Kongo takes a step backwards and waves Monster back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Cookie Monster has been cut.
Kongo throws a nice outside leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Kongo! This one is all over!
