The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock shoots in but no luck this time.
Meat throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rock's head.
The Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meat throws a right hand that Rock ducks under and follows up with a left that Rock also avoids with ease.
Rock fails to land the takedown.
Meat is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Meat looks to land a combination but Rock avoids it well.
Meat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rock.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Rock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meat throws a head kick that half lands.
Meat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rock swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Meat sprawls well. Meat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rock gets slowly back to his feet.

Meat stuffs the takedown attempt from Rock. Rock gets slowly back to his feet.
Rock is breathing heavily.

Meat keeps Rock at a distance using the push kick.
Rock keeps the fight on the outside.

Rock is rocked!
Meat cracks Rock with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rock tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Meat pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rock is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
