Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyreke Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jr Seau!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans swinging wildly here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Evans. Seau does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tyreke Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seau doesn't manage to clinch there - Evans circles away.
Seau is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Let's hope that Seau has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jr Seau just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A frustrated look appears on Evans's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Evans is looking to control Seau's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Evans avoid being mounted?

Seau moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Evans.
Evans wants to get back to his feet but Seau drags him back down.

Evans manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Seau is trying to control the action in half guard but Evans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Evans gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Evans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Seau has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evans has managed to get both his arms back between Seau's legs - danger averted.

Seau tries to get to full guard but Evans has control of the leg.

Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Seau has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Evans thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Seau is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Seau manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Seau's guard.

Evans postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Seau is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Evans, into his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Jr Seau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Seau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
