The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goenitz misses with a series of wild punches.
Seguin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Seguin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goenitz manages to avoid it.

Seguin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Goenitz is trying to defend but Seguin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Seguin shoots for a double leg takedown but Goenitz sprawls well. He's pushed Seguin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Seguin feints and as Goenitz raises his hands in defense, Seguin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Goenitz is sitting in close to Seguin's body. Seguin has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Goenitz is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Goenitz is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Seguin.
