Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Von Hammerstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick Von Hammerstein told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dick Von Hammerstein!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Hammerstein works over Smirnov's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Vladimir Smirnov has been cut.
Smirnov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Von Hammerstein works the jab nicely.
Von Hammerstein throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smirnov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Von Hammerstein bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smirnov's head backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Von Hammerstein scores with a sloppy right hand. Smirnov should have avoided that one.
Von Hammerstein cracks Smirnov with a hook to the temple - Smirnov is on wobbly legs here! Von Hammerstein swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Smirnov falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Von Hammerstein wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dick Von Hammerstein!
