PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tonny Chopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rand Wraith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wraith comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Burn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rand Wraith will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Wraith lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Chopper goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Wraith in side control.

Chopper is rocked!

It looks like Tonny Chopper has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wraith has knee on belly momentarily but Chopper bucks him off and regains half guard.

Chopper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wraith tries to avoid it but Chopper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wraith to the ground. Wraith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Tonny Chopper will probably get the nod.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
