Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Laruso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Napier Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Napier Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Laruso !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Napier Jr!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laruso keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Laruso lands with a kick to the ribs.

Napier Jr closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Napier Jr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Laruso uses from the top position.
Laruso wants to get up but he can't break Napier Jr's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Laruso gets to his feet. Napier Jr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Napier Jr works over Laruso 's head and body with a nice combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Napier Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
Napier Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laruso defends it nicely.
Daniel Laruso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Napier Jr.
Napier Jr looks gassed!
Napier Jr moves out of range of the strikes.
Laruso tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Napier Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Laruso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Laruso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laruso leaves Napier Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Napier Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Laruso circles away.
Laruso fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Napier Jr checks it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Laruso swings for the body but Napier Jr moves out of range.
Laruso throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Laruso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Laruso lands a jab to the nose.
Laruso misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Laruso lands a big head kick that sends Napier Jr tumbling to the mat! Laruso takes a step backwards and waves Napier Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Napier Jr is rocked!
Laruso throws a left and a right that both miss

and Napier Jr counters with a single leg into guard. Laruso didn't expect that.
Napier Jr is still in real trouble! Can Laruso finish him?
Laruso utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Napier Jr postures up in Laruso 's guard and throws a big left but Laruso blocks it.
Napier Jr seems to have recovered his senses.
Napier Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Laruso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Laruso has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Napier Jr doesn't defend quickly enough and Laruso has managed to lock this one up! Can Napier Jr escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Laruso on a fantastic submission victory.
