daley takes a kick to the side of the head.
nick daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

daley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. daley showed some decent athleticism there.

Cyde is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but daley pulls his head out easily.
daley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

daley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

daley is taking a breather. Cyde says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

daley works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

daley wants to finish this one by submission but Cyde is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from daley.

daley jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cyde is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cyde and daley has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

daley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cyde has escaped the position, nice work there.
Cyde tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but daley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
