Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Mezza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rellik X (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). X comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Gotta Feeling kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Mezza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
X displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mezza throws out the jab.
Mezza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but X manages to avoid it.
Mezza is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from X is defended easily by Mezza.
Mezza misses with a double jab.
Mezza tries to close the distance and clinch up but X swats him away and circles back towards the center.
X looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

X creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, X throws an elbow but misses.
X pushes off an throws an elbow but Mezza leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Mezza jumps guard but X stands there with Mezza around his waist. Mezza gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

X pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mezza tries to reverse the position but X maintains control.

X is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
X has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mezza is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
X goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mezza prevents it.

and X counters with a shoot takedown. Mezza fights it but they end up in guard.
Mezza might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
X stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mezza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
X is looking to advance position but Mezza has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rellik X showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
X rushes Mezza and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mezza blocks the elbow strike.
X has Mezza pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. X pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mezza tumbling to the mat - X dives into Mezza's guard.
Mezza is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst X is controlling him.
X is pushing down on Mezza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mezza is fighting to maintain full guard but X has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rellik X has got the better of the ground game so far.
X postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

X has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mezza's face.
