Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Munster Draon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Max Pain has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Munster Draon! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pain throws a shot from downtown. Draon moves away and avoids it. Pain cracks Draon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Draon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Pain trying to control here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Draon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pain blocking the ground and pound attempt from Draon. Pain wants to control but Draon is keeping busy.
Pain manages to get to full guard.
Draon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Draon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Draon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pain to the mat! Pain manages to get full guard. Draon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pain wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draon is looking to work some ground and pound but Pain has wrist control. Pain looking for a sweep. Not yet Pain, not yet. Draon postures up.
Draon thows a big elbow that misses. Pain working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Draon. Pain trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Draon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Draon has time to react. Pain connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Draon momentarily.
Draon shoots in and bounces Pain off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Draon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pain is trying to keep Draon in close.

Pain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Draon's guard. Pain thows a big elbow that misses. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pain has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Draon is proving hard to escape from. Draon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Draon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Draon controls Pain momentarily but Pain frees himself.

Pain is thwarting Draon's attempts to control the position. Pain prevents Draon from improving his position. Draon throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Draon gets full guard. Draon looks gassed! Draon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Draon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pain advances to half guard. Draon flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Draon wants to get back to full guard. Pain is working for a submission of some sort.
Pain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Draon sees it coming and defends easily. Draon moves into full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Munster Draon dominated that round. That's time! Pain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Draon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pain is fending him off so far but Draon persists. Nope, Pain circles away and we're back to standing. Pain with a nice cross. Pain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Draon to score an easy takedown into full guard. Draon throwing strikes from guard but Pain blocks nicely. Pain throws a shot from downtown. Draon moves away and avoids it. A big left from Pain misses. Max Pain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pain pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Pain misses with a straight right. Pain misses with a two punch combination.

Draon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pain wants to improve his position but Draon is controlling well.

Draon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Draon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pain is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Draon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Draon lands in his opponent's guard. Pain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Draon manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Draon striking off his back but it's not causing Pain any problems. Pain stands and throws Draon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pain looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Munster Draon has got the better of the ground game so far. Draon striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Pain has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Draon is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pain yanks on the arm and Draon is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pain.
