Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake colby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tauno Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tauno Puukko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake colby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tauno Puukko!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puukko tries to close the distance and clinch up but colby swats him away and circles back towards the center.
colby could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Puukko works colby's body with a nice hook.
colby pulls out of a head kick attempt.
colby wants to clinch up but Puukko keeps it at a distance.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Puukko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and colby has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from colby and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and colby counters with a shoot takedown. Puukko fights it but they end up in guard.
Puukko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
colby postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Puukko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of colby, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Puukko is nestled in close to colby, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

colby bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
