The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cote tries to clinch but Benn moves out of range.
Cote looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Benn is fending him off so far but Cote persists. Nope, Benn circles away and we're back to standing.
Benn dives in and grabs Cote's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cote pushes down on Benn's head and hops out.
Cote is looking to clinch.

Benn gets caught flat footed, as Cote shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Benn wants to sweep here but Cote controlling him for the moment.
Cote is looking to stand up but Benn won't let him.

Cote is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Benn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Benn has escaped and now he's on top!
