Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Allen Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chris cav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Poe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dance Hall Days. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from cav.
chris cav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Poe. No joy for cav on that attempt.
Poe leaves cav with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Poe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

cav moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Poe punishes cav's body with a nice straight punch.
cav on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
cav takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Poe scores with a sloppy right hand. cav should have avoided that one.
Poe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Poe. That's going to slow cav down.

Poe cracks cav with a left hook right on the temple and cav goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Poe lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully cav is OK!
